Winston-Salem, NC/Open to work
I transcribe noisy problems into data, and translate data into solutions.
I build data pipelines, models, and AI tools for any field with a problem worth solving. Biology is where I learned to read complex systems. The systems can be anything.
Four disciplines, one pipeline.
I work the full path from the bench to the model, so a project does not have to hand off between four different people.
Applied AI and ML
LLM-driven data pipelines, model training and inference, computer vision on edge hardware, NLP and sentiment analysis.
Data engineering
Production Python pipelines, structured data products, CRM automation, and analyst-ready reporting from messy sources.
Bioinformatics
FASTA parsing and sequence analysis, genomic data science, restriction-site and protein-translation tooling for the bench.
Wet-lab biotech
Mammalian cell culture, recombinant DNA, aseptic technique, and bioprocessing. The science the rest connects to.
Selected work
Six projects, real outcomes.
The perceptron, the unit behind every neural network, was modeled on the biological neuron. The overlap between biology and machine learning is what pulled me in, and it is what I have worked on since.
